Forces are acting on the world we live in and the things we do at all times. Contact and non-contact forces can cause objects to speed up and slow down, or change direction and shape. In this book, students will learn to identify these forces and discover how they impact the behaviour of objects. They will investigate the effect of the size of a force on speed, friction and attraction and repulsion between magnets. Each book in the Australian Geographic Science series includes links to online experiments, and topical news pieces that integrate the cross-curriculum priorities.
