Notes
A 19th-century mystery combining folklore and scientific discovery, set around the Thames. On a dark midwinter's night, the regulars in an ancient inn on the Thames are startled when the door bursts open on an injured stranger who carries the nearly drowned body of a mute young girl. When the stranger becomes unconscious, the girl is later claimed by three different families, and the mystery of who she really belongs to and what has happened to her must be unravelled before her real identity can be revealed.
