Notes
A legend from Manihiki Atoll about the origins of the coconut palm. Tuna, the half-eel eldest son of the sea guardian Tangaroa, falls in love with Hina. They live together for a while, but Maui-pōtiki is also in love with her, and kills Tuna. Hina buries his severed head, waters it with her tears, and the first coconut palm grows.Location | edition | Bar Code | due date |
