Margrave is a quiet little town in Georgia - it's perfect. Too perfect. Drifter and ex-military policeman Jack Reacher jumps off a bus and walks fourteen miles in the rain to Margrave. An arbitrary decision, a tribute to a guitar player who died there decades before. But Margrave has just had its first homicide in thirty years. Reacher is the only stranger in town, so he is arrested. There is something very wrong in Margrave. But they have picked the wrong man to take the fall.
