Charting the development of music through the 20th Century, this series highlights the century's most successful composers and musicians and explores the changes in technique and choice of instrument, as well as the tastes and listening habits of modern generations. The books explain each music style and look at the style in its historical and social context, with discussions on the effects of music on people's lives.
